board dorks

Whistler is gorgeous. Snowboarding is hard but fun. We have nearly mastered the bunny slope. Tomorrow we will upgrade to a green run.

Everyone who works here is Australian or a New Zealander. This is fine with me. I like their accents. However, I was looking forward to chuckling at “aboots” and “ehs” from the Canadians.

Been working on your snowboard lingo? Cutting some mad freshies in the pow pow, brah?

That’s funny about the New Zealanders, esp since you were thinking about going to New Zealand. Weird. Have fun and watch out for trees & small children.

Heh heh. Well, apparently you don’t “board”, you “ride.” Also, if you’re from New Zealand, you say “brilliant” a lot. This is based, of course, on the one New Zealander I met.
