just checking in
I’m beat. School was long but today was the most fun day of the week. I had a group presentation due and MAN am I glad it’s over. It went well but, yeah, I’m glad it’s finished.
Not much else is going on. I’m going to catch up on laundry, cleaning, sleeping, and homework this weekend. I’m not behind in my homework, but I do have a lot to accomplish over the weekend since I spent most of my time during the week working on the presentation.
Speaking of laundry, we don’t have a washer or dryer in our apartment and there is no laundry room for our apartment. We found a nice little quiet laundromat not far from our house, but I don’t have the time or energy to go over there and do laundry after school. I think we’ll go this weekend. How bad has it gotten? I wore two different colored socks to school yesterday and I didn’t care. They were clean and they weren’t really that different. Still, no time for laundry during the week.
In other news, I feel very loved when I come home. Danny is happy to see me after missing me all day. I got home at 9 on wednesday night and at 8 yesterday. Today, I got home early at 6pm. Whoohoo!
The cats seem happy to see me too. They like to sleep at the end of the bed while I’m studying. I’m on the sofa right now and they’re both sprawled out around my knees and ankles. The worthless little fur-bags are pretty cute sometimes.
Next week, I’ll be 29. Yep, the big 2 9. I’m cool with it though. I mean, it’s not 30 or anything.
