This is what happens when Daniel gets bored. I guess it runs in the family.
…more cat pics!
This should tide you over until I have more interesting things to write about. Yes, it’s boomer again but he’s just so big and lazy!

Lisa is in town visiting me this week. So far, it’s been a relaxing visit. She’s stayed with me before so we’re not spending every second checking out new landmarks. Although I love taking new people sightseeing, it’s nice to just have a very casual schedule and take it day by day.
So far, we’ve been to Mt. Tamalpais and to Muir Woods and we’re going to SF tomorrow. Our agenda? Shopping. We aim high.
I’ve been inspired by the recent “theme of the week.” My theme of the week is to notice things we see everyday. I’m not talking about a stop sign or a person walking their dog, but something you actually see everyday as you’re going to work, picking up your mail, or driving to the store. What do you see? Do you find beauty in it? Why?
These snapshots show what I see when I’m at work and walking to the train station in San Francisco; a photo diary of sorts. Not all of the pictures are beautiful. In fact, some of them are downright grotesque, but I witness them….day after day after day. Someday, I will miss this walk.

I have a theme of the week idea in progress. I should have it posted by tomorrow morning.
It has been raining a lot. Today, I forgot to take my umbrella to work and was in trouble when it started pouring as I was walking back from lunch. I had my rain hat and my raincoat though, so it wasn’t too bad.
Since neither one of us wanted to drive very far for dinner tonight, Danny and I ordered a pizza and watched some TV/DVDs. I also stuffed all of my invitations so those will go out shortly. It really wasn’t too bad. Then again, the wedding will only consist of about 50 people total. It will be small and fun I hope.
Highlights since last week: dinner with friends on Saturday night followed by a late night “The Office” original series marathon, doing laundry last night *yay*, and just taking care of little stuff around the house. Not wild and crazy but relaxing, like a weekend should be.
What a worthless piece of fucking shit….
Our new “coinless” washing machines were installed for our apartments last week. At last, after six months of construction, we have more than two crappy washers for our entire complex.
I went downstairs tonight, Saturday night, and no one was washing clothes. “Great,” I thought. I have the whole lot of them to myself.
When I went to add money to my laundry card, I got this message.
No dial tone. Please try again later.
WTF? Why must you mock me like this? Why? What have I done? I just want clean underwear and a fresh towel. Why are you making it so hard?
Maybe I’ll get a tub and a scrub-board, sit on my porch, and hand-wash my clothes while singing hymns.
*grrrr…piece of shit*

V for Vendetta is so fucking cool. The story made me so angry and so happy at the same time.
Mmmm…it’s REALLY good. I’ll probably see it in the theater again.
Oh, and I’m in love with Natalie Portman.
In other news, we ended our date with an 11pm stop at In ‘n Out: all carbs, grease, and salt but it was worth it.

Tonight Danny and I are going to see V for Vendetta. Yay! I’ve wanted to see this since I caught the superbowl ad last month. I haven’t been to a movie on opening night in a very long time, so we are going early. Since it’s also St. Patrick’s Day, maybe the theater won’t be completely packed.
This week went by slowly but it wasn’t too bad. I performed some sort of exercise everyday which is highly unusual. Most days I went walking, but today I went to the gym after work and swam several laps before relaxing in the steam room.
The wedding stuff seems to be going well. A few things are still up in the air, but my aunt is being very very helpful by doing most of the legwork. She went cake-tasting on Wednesday and picked out some delicious ones for us.
I’m so freakin tired and I don’t know why. Also, if I’m so tired, why do I will myself awake until midnight when all I want to do at 7am is keep sleeping? Old habits die hard I suppose.
….going to bed, for real.
